Dreadmoor is a PC game right now. Steam's own store data lists it for Windows only — no macOS, no Linux — and there is no console version announced. If you are here wondering about a PS5, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch release, here is everything that is actually known.

What Steam confirms

Steam's app data (checked September 25, 2026) marks Dreadmoor as Windows-only: windows: true, mac: false, linux: false. The store listing also carries full controller support including DualShock and DualSense entries — so PlayStation and Xbox controllers work on PC, which is the intended way to play on a couch today.

What the developers said about consoles

When a player asked on Reddit in September 2026 about a console release, the developers answered directly:

"Currently there are no plans for a console release, but, we'll see how things look in the future once the game launches!"

That is the most recent official statement, and it is clearer than the usual tease: no console version is in development, and the team will revisit the question after the PC launch. Unreal Engine 5 is a console-capable engine, so a port is technically plausible — but nothing has been announced, and "no plans" is the honest answer until the developers change it.

What about VR?

Nothing. DREADMOOR is a first-person game, which occasionally sparks VR questions, but the developers have never announced any VR version, and the store listing carries no VR flags.

Practical ways to play today
